Who we are
Forty to Sixty is a publication for women navigating health and wellness in midlife. We bring research, practical questions and everyday experience into the same conversation, in plain language.

A fuller picture of midlife
Sleep. Energy and strength. Digestion. Hair and skin. Those are starting points, not the limits of what we cover. Our aim is to make health information easier to understand—and easier to discuss with your clinician.

The reading behind the story
Our editorial standard is simple: health statements need sources. We look to original studies and established public-health and professional organizations, including CDC, NIH, ACOG and The Menopause Society.
We link to the research so you can read it, too. We separate what a study found from what it cannot tell us, and explain uncertainty in ordinary words.

Written for real life
We write for busy days, late-night questions and the appointment you want to feel prepared for. You do not need a science background to read along.
- Research and personal experience are clearly distinguished.
- Sources and retrieval dates belong alongside the story.
- Questions about medication, hormone therapy or supplements belong in a conversation with your clinician.
- Any paid relationship connected to a review or recommendation is disclosed where it appears.
- Errors are corrected in the place they were published.
